The CFTC will hold an Oct. 28 forum on superintelligence and agentic finance, including a panel examining whether and how its regulatory framework should apply when autonomous agents transact for market participants.

The panel will focus on agentic trading by autonomous agents. Its discussion will address the framework’s application when agents transact on behalf of market participants.

The agenda frames the forum as a discussion. It does not announce a new rule or policy.
