Thai immigration police arrested a 47-year-old Chinese man in Chonburi under a fraud warrant issued by Bangkok North Court and transferred him to Hua Mak Police Station for legal proceedings.

The arrest was tied to a cryptocurrency investment case involving Chinese investors. The man was identified by the alias “Lee” and also held a Cambodian passport.

He had lived in Samut Prakan before moving to a mansion in Chonburi, where immigration police from both provinces jointly arrested him. Thailand’s Immigration Bureau said it would continue targeting transnational crime networks, focusing on mule accounts and money laundering.
