Court Approves Poolin-Linked Texas Mining Sale for Up to About $180 Million
The terms include $100 million at closing and up to $80 million tied to later milestones. A proposed Dec. 31, 2026, claim deadline is set for consideration at a Nov. 10 hearing.

A New Jersey bankruptcy court approved the sale of Texas mining assets held by a debtor linked to Poolin, setting terms that include $100 million at closing and as much as $80 million in later milestone payments. The sale's total consideration could reach up to about $180 million.
The approval follows an earlier court-approved auction of Poolin's Texas assets. A general deadline for creditors to file proofs of claim has been proposed for Dec. 31, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET. The court is scheduled to consider the deadline at a Nov. 10 hearing.
Lawyer 王裕锋 said the case involves many Chinese users, with claims including platform balances, IOUs and mining-pool earnings. Lawyer 王裕锋 said that, for claims legally requiring a proof of claim, missing the deadline ultimately set by the court may affect claim recognition, plan voting and distributions. Earlier submissions do not necessarily count as valid claim filings, he said.
