Ripple announced Oct. 26 that the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) had granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank's national trust charter, though public records still show only conditional approval.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced the approval. The OCC's public charter records still list only a conditional approval dated Dec. 12, 2025. That leaves the company's announcement ahead of the status reflected in the public record.

XRP traded near $1.29, while exchange withdrawals reached their highest share since mid-August. Wallets holding at least 10 million XRP accounted for about 68.5% of the token's supply, the highest share since November 2022.

Together, those figures add market context to Ripple's corporate announcement. They measure separate activity: concentration of tokens in large wallets and XRP being withdrawn from exchanges. The Federal Reserve's Oct. 28 decision is the next date in focus for U.S. markets this week.
