A sponsored release dated Wednesday, Oct. 28, about IUX’s claimed UAE authorization omits the details needed to assess which regulated activities the license would cover, including any crypto-related services.

The release identifies IUX Mena Financial Consultation L.L.C. as the entity through which IUX says it obtained the license. It provides no license number, grant date or activity category.

The United Arab Emirates’ Capital Market Authority (CMA) licensing framework covers specific financial activities or ranges of activities. Its categories include arrangement and advice, as well as virtual-asset services. The release names no crypto product and does not say the claimed license covers virtual-asset services.

TokenPost previously covered ICM MENA’s Category 5 license in a story that discussed access to crypto contracts for difference. IUX’s release does not identify a similar crypto authorization.

IUX’s services are not intended to solicit U.S. residents.
