KuCoin announced it will immediately shut down all products, services and platform resources for users in Russia and Belarus under applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The shutdown covers the full platform. KuCoin will send affected customers individual notices with deadlines and steps to close open positions and withdraw assets. Users who have not received a notice do not need to take action at this stage.

The move follows recent restrictions by other crypto exchanges in the region. Bitget restricted users in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan after updating its terms of service Oct. 16. MEXC announced Oct. 20 that it would end services for users in Russia and Belarus. HTX added Russia to its restricted-jurisdiction list, though that measure was not a complete exit.

The changes include both access restrictions and full service exits. Bitget also included Kazakhstan, while KuCoin and MEXC named Russia and Belarus. Together, the steps mark a further narrowing of access to centralized crypto exchanges in the region.
