A jury found for Monsanto Company in a Roundup cancer trial involving three women, the first such trial since the Supreme Court ruled for Monsanto in June.

The women sued Monsanto, alleging Roundup caused cancer. The case was Theresa Aretino et al. v. Monsanto Company, with Monsanto named as the defendant. Bayer is Monsanto’s parent company.

The Supreme Court ruled for Monsanto in Monsanto v. Durnell on June 25, 2026. The verdict was the first Roundup trial held after that ruling.
