Crypto Firms Contributed $206 Million to PACs Through Q2 2026
The tally counts for-profit corporate contributions of at least $5,000. A separate estimate tracks crypto-aligned groups’ election spending through Oct. 20.

Crypto companies contributed $206 million to super PACs and hybrid PACs through the second quarter of 2026, a measure of money given to political committees rather than what they spent on midterm races.
The total counts for-profit corporate contributions of at least $5,000. Crypto-aligned groups had spent roughly $176 million across more than 100 races by Oct. 20, including $150.8 million from Fairshake and its affiliates and about $25 million from other groups. Earlier coverage detailed the spending estimate. The contribution and spending figures use different measures and reporting periods and should not be combined.
Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter said, “We back pro-crypto candidates who support American innovation in both parties.”
On Sept. 15, senators voted 49-50 against invoking cloture on a motion to proceed to the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. The vote left the bill at the motion-to-proceed stage and did not decide its final passage.
