U.S. Sen. Cynthia Lummis said the CLARITY Act would establish a pilot for crypto firms to share intelligence with federal law enforcement, a measure she said could help curb stolen-fund transfers.
Lummis cited a theft she valued at $6.3 billion and said the assets moved across blockchains within minutes. She has also said the bill includes protections for crypto whistleblowers.
