Cepheid announced Tuesday, Nov. 3, that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved its Xpert Hemorrhagic Fever Panel. The product is a PCR test designed to detect multiple hemorrhagic fever viruses from one sample.

Cepheid is a subsidiary of Danaher.
