SpaceX has objected to a proposed OKXICE listing of third-party tokens tied to its shares, adding the aerospace company to a group of 56 companies that have objected to proposed listings on the planned U.S. venue.

An OKXICE public notice dated Monday, Nov. 2, lists the companies that have objected to proposed token listings. SpaceX joined Amazon and Tesla among 56 companies that have objected to the proposed listings.

OKXICE is a planned joint venture between crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, which owns the New York Stock Exchange. The venture plans to offer tokenized U.S. stocks through a U.S. trading venue.

The SEC’s five-year Innovation Exemption, introduced in September, gives companies 30 days to object to proposed trading in third-party tokens tied to their shares.

SpaceX-linked tokens have traded on offshore platforms since June. Backpack Securities’ SPCX token recorded $1.08 billion in onchain trading volume that month, while Kraken’s SPCXx recorded $852 million. Both offerings were designed to be backed by actual shares.
