Bitwise Analyst Counts 51 Pro-Crypto Senators as Results Come In

Bitwise analyst Camran Khosravi put the number of pro-crypto U.S. senators at 51 as midterm results continued to come in. He characterized the results as showing that cryptocurrency is becoming a bipartisan issue.

The pre-election figure of 52 included Alaska’s two pro-crypto candidates, so it was not a count of senators alone.

Democrats won seven Senate seats previously held by Republicans. Four of those winners received A ratings from crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto.
