Digital Chamber (TDC) characterized Sherrod Brown’s election victory as a major setback for crypto, pointing to policy priorities it said may shape Democrats’ broader approach to the industry.

The group cited financial stability, consumer protection, bank regulation and illicit finance as priorities that could influence the party’s overall stance toward crypto.

Brown’s victory returns him to the Senate, where he could lead a committee with jurisdiction over crypto.
