A Seoul court dismissed all claims in Dunamu's lawsuit against rival exchange Bithumb over alleged copying of API documentation and ordered Dunamu to pay litigation costs.

The Seoul Central District Court's 63rd Civil Division issued the ruling Nov. 5. Dunamu, which operates Upbit, had sought about $140,000 in damages in the case.

Upbit is South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, while Bithumb is the country's second-largest. Dunamu accused Bithumb of copying its API documents, the basis for the damages claim.
