Argentina's Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV), the country's capital-markets regulator, highlighted tokenization during a discussion about financing access at the second Capital Markets Symposium.

CNV Vice President Sonia Salvatierra discussed tokenization and virtual asset service providers at the event in Yerba Buena, Tucumán. She said regulatory frameworks that support financial innovation can reduce barriers and improve local businesses' access to financing.

Separately, the CNV is pursuing its “Big Bang” regulatory reform, an initiative aimed at simplifying financing processes. The symposium also brought together figures in economics and finance to discuss regional financial opportunities.
