MEXC Starts Independent Review After U.S. Access Order From FinCEN
MEXC says operations are normal and user assets are safe as it prepares to contact FinCEN and other authorities.

MEXC said it is operating normally and has begun an independent review of its compliance controls as it assesses a U.S. directive that cuts the platform off from the U.S. financial system.
The independent review covers MEXC's anti-money-laundering and sanctions controls. The company also said user assets remain safe, describing the state of customer holdings as it evaluates the directive.
MEXC plans constructive communication with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which issued the directive, and other relevant regulators and authorities worldwide.
The response has two parts: assessing the U.S. measure and examining MEXC's own safeguards. The directive concerns the platform's access to the U.S. financial system, while the independent review addresses the controls MEXC uses for money-laundering and sanctions compliance.
MEXC said its operations continue normally as both efforts proceed. Its stated response pairs an assessment of the U.S. directive with a separate review of internal controls and planned communication with regulators in other jurisdictions worldwide.
