NHN Cloud Teams Up with Creder to Accelerate Web3 Expansion on Avalanche

SEOUL, June 16, 2025 – South Korean cloud computing provider NHN Cloud Corp. announced on Monday a strategic partnership with blockchain developer Creder, a move aimed at accelerating its entry into the burgeoning Web3 infrastructure market.

The agreement for "Web3 Joint Business based on Avalanche" will see NHN Cloud collaborate closely with Creder, known for operating "Gold Station," a Real-World Asset (RWA) platform that digitizes gold for blockchain-based transactions. Creder is also a validator on various blockchain networks, including the Layer 1 blockchain Avalanche, contributing to the expansion of the Web3 ecosystem through its technical expertise.

NHN Cloud secured Gold Station as a client in April, successfully migrating its infrastructure from a previous cloud service to NHN Cloud's own platform. This migration was a testament to NHN Cloud's robust capabilities, particularly its flexible OpenStack-based services and high-security standards, which are crucial for an RWA platform like Gold Station that demands 24/7 stability and top-tier security. The successful transition ensures Gold Station users can conduct secure gold transactions within an NHN Cloud-powered blockchain environment.

Building on this technical trust, NHN Cloud and Creder will now deepen their cooperation beyond simply providing cloud infrastructure. Their joint efforts will focus on co-developing and operating cloud solutions specifically optimized for "validators" – key entities in the Web3 ecosystem. This includes collaborating on designing optimal cloud environments, building systems, and enhancing security for major network validator systems, such as the high-performance Avalanche blockchain.

The companies further plan to broaden their partnership by combining their respective strengths in cloud and blockchain technologies. This will involve joint research and commercialization initiatives across critical technical areas of the Web3 ecosystem.

Lim Dae-hoon, CEO of Creder, emphasized the importance of seamless service migration in the blockchain industry. "Thanks to NHN Cloud's stable technical support, we were able to complete the migration with high confidence," he stated. "This MOU will allow us to accelerate the cloud transition and expansion of validator systems across various blockchain networks."

Kim Dong-hoon, CEO of NHN Cloud, expressed his enthusiasm for the expanded collaboration. "Providing stable cloud infrastructure to Creder and now jointly developing cloud-based blockchain technology to expand our influence into the Web3 market is truly meaningful," Kim said. "Based on our proven infrastructure operational capabilities across various industries, we will continue to support our customers by providing optimal infrastructure in blockchain and Web3 environments."
