Google Integrates Polymarket and Kalshi Prediction Data into Google Search and Finance

Google is transforming how users access real-time financial insights by integrating prediction market data from Polymarket and Kalshi directly into Google Search and its revamped Google Finance platform. This innovative move allows users to see live, crowd-based forecasts for key future events, marking one of the first times a major tech company brings prediction markets into mainstream tools.

The new feature leverages the “wisdom of the crowd” concept—where collective market opinions often yield more accurate forecasts than individual analysts or models. Users can now ask natural language queries like “Will the U.S. enter a recession in 2025?” or “Who will win the 2024 U.S. presidential election?” and instantly view real-time market odds and probability trend charts. These predictions come from active traders buying and selling event-based shares, creating a dynamic reflection of market sentiment.

For Polymarket, a blockchain-based platform currently operating outside the U.S. due to regulatory limitations, the partnership with Google offers significant visibility and legitimacy. Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated U.S. platform, brings verified and compliant data into Google’s expanding financial ecosystem.

The integration is part of a broader overhaul of Google Finance, which is becoming more interactive and AI-driven. Other updates include “Deep Search,” powered by Google’s Gemini AI, offering long-form, cited financial answers, and enhanced earnings call tracking with real-time transcripts and summaries. Initially available in Google Labs, the prediction market data rollout will soon reach a global audience, beginning with India.
