QoreChain Combines Post-Quantum Security, Multi-VM and AI

QoreChain is an emerging Layer 1 blockchain seeking to combine post-quantum cryptography, multi-VM execution and artificial intelligence within a single network. Built with the Cosmos SDK, its mainnet launched on June 7, 2026, supporting Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), CosmWasm and Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) environments.

One of QoreChain’s key differentiators is its approach to quantum-resistant blockchain security. Native Cosmos transactions require hybrid signing using both conventional secp256k1 and ML-DSA-87 signatures. The network also incorporates ML-KEM-1024 and SHAKE-256 as part of its broader post-quantum architecture.

However, quantum-resistant security is not yet mandatory across every execution environment. EVM transactions currently follow Ethereum-compatible signing standards, with optional hybrid post-quantum signatures targeted before January 2027 and mandatory enforcement planned for Q3 2027. SVM enforcement is expected in 2028.

QoreChain’s multi-VM architecture aims to give developers access to established blockchain ecosystems. EVM enables Solidity development, CosmWasm supports Rust-based smart contracts and Cosmos IBC connectivity, while SVM is designed for Solana-compatible applications. SVM transaction submission, however, remains disabled following an August 21 security incident. The company said the incident was contained within 25 minutes and no user funds were lost.

The blockchain also integrates artificial intelligence through PRISM, a reinforcement-learning system embedded into its consensus architecture. PRISM analyzes network conditions and can propose adjustments to parameters such as gas pricing and block times. QoreChain additionally offers QCAI, which generates smart-contract code from natural-language prompts and provides automated security analysis across 38 blockchain targets.

Its QoreX non-custodial wallet supports EVM, Cosmos and Solana-compatible applications while keeping private keys on users’ devices. Features include seedless recovery and a Q-Day Scanner designed to assess addresses for potential quantum-computing exposure.

Overall, QoreChain represents an ambitious attempt to bring quantum-resistant cryptography, multiple blockchain execution environments and AI-assisted infrastructure together. Its native post-quantum transaction system is already operational, although several elements of its broader vision remain under development.
