On April 29, 2026, Tassat Group moved the Lynq institutional settlement network onto a permissioned Avalanche L1 with dedicated governance over validators, configuration and data access.

Lynq operates a real-time settlement and collateral network developed with Tassat. The migration preserved existing positions, integrations and operational workflows while moving the network onto its own Avalanche-based infrastructure.

More than 30 digital-asset institutions had been onboarded to Lynq when the migration was announced. Participants included B2C2, Crypto.com, FalconX, Fireblocks, Galaxy and Wintermute. Tassat’s underlying infrastructure had processed more than $2.5 trillion in transactions as of April 29, 2026.

The dedicated network is designed for institutional settlement and collateral mobility. An Avalanche L1 can establish its own validator requirements and operate as a permissioned or private blockchain, giving institutional networks more control over validator participation, network configuration and data access.

The structure also keeps Lynq connected to the broader Avalanche ecosystem while allowing the network to set operating rules suited to its users. That control is relevant for financial institutions that need predictable processing and restricted access to transaction data.

Lynq’s infrastructure uses Tassat’s patented Yield-in-Transit technology. The system enables assets to accrue and distribute interest on-chain down to the block while remaining available for settlement.

“This upgrade is about more than performance—it’s about modernizing Lynq’s foundation,” Tassat CEO Glen Sussman said.

“Avalanche provides us with a dedicated, permissioned environment,” Lynq CEO Jerald David said.

Tassat announced the completed move on April 29 at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC).
