Bitget Says $351.6 Million in Stolen Funds Remains at Issue
CEO Gracy Chen said 19 transfers involved hot and warm wallets, while cold wallets were not affected. Withdrawals remain suspended during a security review.

Bitget says about $351.6 million in stolen funds remains involved in the incident, while the attacker did not obtain wallet private keys, CEO Gracy Chen said Thursday.
The incident involved 19 transfers from Bitget’s hot and warm wallets, Chen said during a livestream. Cold wallets were not affected, and the amount involved has not increased further.
Chen said the attacker did not withdraw funds by forging user information. Instead, the attacker accessed Bitget’s internal systems and initiated the transfers, she said. The exchange has not identified the root cause.
Bitget suspended withdrawals after the incident. The exchange has not determined when withdrawals will resume; restoration could take several hours or several days while the security review continues.
