Bitget Commissions Independent Forensic Probe Into Attack
Multiple security teams will verify remediation measures, trace the attack route and support law enforcement cooperation before withdrawals resume.
Bitget has commissioned a third-party security team to conduct an independent forensic investigation into its recent attack, while withdrawals will remain closed until potential security risks are eliminated.
Bitget Chinese-region head Xie Jiayin said multiple teams are working to verify remediation measures and determine how the attack was carried out. The teams will also support cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
Bitget plans to share the investigation’s results after the incident is resolved. The exchange will reopen withdrawals as soon as all potential vulnerabilities have been addressed.
