Bitget Commissions Independent Security Probe Before Restoring Withdrawals

Bitget has halted withdrawals while an independent third-party security team investigates a security incident, with the exchange saying it will restore the service after all potential risks are eliminated.
谢家印 said Bitget commissioned the team to conduct an independent forensic investigation. Multiple teams are also working to validate remediation measures, confirm how the attack occurred and assist with law enforcement cooperation.
Bitget will publish the investigation results when available. The exchange also said its protection fund is sufficient to cover the related losses.
It said withdrawals will resume as soon as all potential security risks have been removed.
