Bitget Says User Funds Will Not Be Affected After Hack
The exchange said its cold wallets remain safe, its protection fund exceeds $464 million and some hacker addresses have been frozen.

Bitget said customer funds will not be affected after a hack involving Ether (ETH), XRP, BNB, Avalanche (AVAX), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC) and other tokens across several networks.
The exchange said its cold wallets were not affected and that its protection fund exceeds $464 million. It also said its own assets exceed $1 billion and that user funds are covered 1:1.
Bitget said it is targeting a full recovery as soon as possible but has not committed to a specific time for restoring withdrawals.
The exchange said it contacted the foundations of all affected networks, with some confirming that hacker addresses had been frozen. Bitget also said it reported the incident to relevant agencies.
Bitget said it will announce the withdrawal-restoration window once it is confirmed.
