Bitget Investigates Security Incident as Deposits and Trading Continue
Mandiant and SlowMist are assisting the investigation. Withdrawals remain paused during additional security checks, while Bitget Wallet is unaffected.
Bitget is working with Mandiant and SlowMist to examine a security incident, while its exchange continues to process deposits, trades and rewards.
Withdrawals are still paused as the exchange conducts additional security checks. Withdrawals will resume after Bitget confirms that they can be restored safely.
User balances remain intact, and Bitget’s user protection fund will cover the effects of the platform-level incident. The exchange will publish further updates through its official channels.
Bitget Wallet was not affected because it is a self-custody wallet operating on infrastructure separate from Bitget Exchange.
