Bitget Pauses Withdrawals as Mandiant, SlowMist Investigate Security Event
Deposits, trading and rewards remain available while the exchange conducts additional security checks. Bitget Wallet operates on separate infrastructure and was not affected.
Bitget has paused withdrawals while Mandiant and SlowMist help investigate a security event, with deposits, trading and trading rewards continuing to operate normally.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the exchange is working with the two independent security specialists on a comprehensive investigation. Withdrawals will resume after additional security checks confirm that they can be safely restored.
Bitget Wallet was not affected by the incident. The self-custody wallet runs on infrastructure that is fully separate from Bitget Exchange.
The withdrawal suspension remains in place as the review continues, while deposits, trading and trading rewards remain available to users.
