Users should promptly revoke approvals for the Ethereum Payment Processor V2 and ApeChain Payment Processor V3 smart contracts following a security warning issued Sept. 25 by Yuga Labs blockchain vice president Quit.

The approvals can be removed through revoke.cash or similar tools. Quit said assets transferred without permission and currently held at an address beginning with 0x71cf are safe, but users whose wallets may be affected should still revoke the contract approvals.

Quit characterized the warning as following suspected security issues involving NFT marketplace activity. White-hat hackers transferred 3,832 NFTs valued at about $1.5 million from hundreds of wallets to an address beginning with 0x71cf.

Quit described the transfers as a white-hat action and said the NFTs would be returned after the risk is resolved. The approval warning covers both Ethereum and ApeChain, extending the issue beyond a single network or marketplace transaction.
