The address did not transfer funds for more than 2.5 hours after it was identified. The delay between the two stablecoin issuers was publicly tracked as part of the response to the stolen funds.
The frozen amount was denominated in Tether’s USDT. The funds were connected to the initial Bitget address through three intermediary transaction steps.
