Bitget Revises Reported Stolen-Funds Total to $387.5 Million
The company plans to announce its withdrawal response by Sept. 26 at 12 a.m. ET (Sept. 26 at 04:00 UTC).

Bitget revised the reported value of assets received by attacker addresses to $387.5 million and plans to publish its withdrawal response by Sept. 26 at 12 a.m. ET (Sept. 26 at 04:00 UTC).
The updated figure is higher than the previously reported $351.6 million because it includes Zcash and TRON assets that were not fully counted earlier. Bitget CEO Gray Chen said the revision does not represent additional stolen funds.
No unauthorized transfers have occurred since the security incident, and the situation remains under control, Chen said. Bitget is preparing to restore withdrawals, with specific details expected before the deadline.
The company has also started a recovery bounty program. Participants can receive a 5% reward for helping freeze attacker-controlled funds or recover assets. Bitget has opened a live tracking dashboard, an information-submission portal and an API for attacker addresses. Reports can also be submitted through Bybit’s Lazarus Bounty platform.
