Bitget Keeps Withdrawals Suspended, Sets Sept. 25 ET Recovery Deadline
The exchange plans to announce a withdrawal-recovery plan by 11 p.m. ET Friday after about $387.5 million in assets were transferred during a security incident.

Bitget will announce a plan to restore withdrawals by 11 p.m. ET Friday (4 a.m. UTC Saturday), while customer withdrawals remain suspended after a security incident involving about $387.5 million in assets.
The exchange said the incident is under control and that it has found no additional unauthorized transfers. Its investigation and asset-tracking efforts are continuing, and withdrawals have not yet resumed.
The transferred assets included Ether (ETH), XRP, Tether (USDT), Zcash (ZEC), USD Coin (USDC), USDT0, XAUt, BNB, Avalanche (AVAX) and TRX. Bitget said the assets were moved to addresses controlled by attackers.
The recovery announcement is expected before Sept. 26 at noon in Beijing, which corresponds to 11 p.m. ET Friday. The announcement will provide the next concrete update on when and how withdrawals may restart.
