Aave V4 Launches Base Market for Loans Against Seven Tokenized Stocks
Eligible non-U.S. users can borrow USD Coin against Coinbase-issued tokens representing Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla.

Aave V4 has launched an Equities Hub on Base that lets eligible non-U.S. users borrow USD Coin (USDC) against tokenized versions of seven U.S. stocks, creating a dedicated lending market for equity-backed crypto loans.
The initial collateral list includes Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla through Coinbase-issued tokens. The market sets a $29 million initial collateral cap, a $32 million USDC supply cap and a $21 million borrowing cap.
The seven stock tokens can be supplied as collateral but cannot be borrowed. Their collateral factors range from 65% to 79%, with separate risk parameters for each asset. Chainlink supplies onchain pricing for the tokenized equities.
Aave uses its Hub and Spoke structure to isolate the market’s liquidity and risk from other Base lending markets while pooling the seven collateral types into a single USDC lending venue. Aave may add more Coinbase tokenized stocks and make GHO available for borrowing after additional governance and risk reviews.
