Magic Eden NFT Traders Told to Revoke Limit Break Approvals
A known vulnerability affects Limit Break’s Payment Processor contract. Potentially affected users should revoke approvals across Ethereum, Polygon and Base.

Users who traded NFTs on Magic Eden’s Ethereum marketplace should revoke approvals for Limit Break’s Payment Processor contract because of a known vulnerability that may expose authorized wallets.
The affected permissions may include “approved for all” NFT approvals. Users who traded or listed NFTs through Magic Eden’s EVM marketplace should check and revoke the contract’s authorization on Ethereum, Polygon and Base.
NFTs listed on Magic Eden currently are not affected by the vulnerability. Listings made through the platform’s EVM marketplace from February through October 2024 may be affected, while listings made after October 2024 are generally not expected to be impacted.
Magic Eden is contacting the protocol’s owners and maintenance team while evaluating additional risk-mitigation steps, including a possible pause of protocol transfers. The platform is continuing to assess the scope of the incident.
A claim portal is also available for users whose affected NFTs were successfully preserved. Those users must first revoke their Payment Processor approval before claiming the assets.
