Bitget CEO Asks THORChain to Refuse Service to Addresses Linked to $351.6 Million Attack

Bitget’s CEO is asking THORChain to refuse service to addresses linked to an attack involving about $351.6 million in unauthorized transfers from the exchange’s wallets.
Bitget said the attacker-linked addresses have been publicly identified and remain under continuous tracking. The exchange is formally asking THORChain to refuse service to those addresses.
Bitget’s CEO argued that decentralization should not shield services used to process known stolen funds and said the broader crypto industry is watching the matter.
Bitget confirmed about $351.6 million in unauthorized transfers from parts of its hot and warm wallets after discovering the transfers on Sept. 25. The exchange said its cold wallets and Bitget Wallet were unaffected, user balances remained intact and losses would be covered by its user protection fund.
