Stolen XRP Worth $83 Million Moves From Bitget Breach Wallets
About 49 million XRP, worth roughly $75 million, remains across the five original holding accounts after funds were divided among new wallets.

About 54 million XRP worth roughly $83 million has moved from wallets holding funds taken in Bitget’s Sept. 24 breach, leaving about $75 million in the five original accounts as of 12:41 p.m. ET (16:41 UTC) Sept. 26.
Two wallets that each received 20 million XRP were reduced to about 23 XRP and 55 XRP. A third wallet held roughly 5.8 million XRP, while the remaining funds had been distributed among additional wallets.
The transferred amount was valued at $1.54 per XRP. The transactions do not establish whether any of the XRP has been sold.
Native XRP cannot be frozen on the XRP Ledger, so Ripple cannot block the asset at the network level. Custodial exchanges can still restrict stolen XRP after it reaches accounts they control.
Bitget said about $387.5 million in assets were transferred to attacker-controlled addresses, revising an earlier estimate of $351.6 million after including Zcash and TRON assets. The exchange said customer balances remain covered by its protection fund and that withdrawals are scheduled to resume in stages from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2.
