Zano has restarted its blockchain from height 3,833,000 after rolling back roughly one month of transaction history to remove unauthorized activity linked to a serious gateway-address problem.

The issue allowed unauthorized ZANO and fUSD to enter circulation, while the network’s core consensus remained unaffected. The restart point is before Hard Fork 6.

Nodes, miners, stakers and service providers must install the emergency software update. Mobile-wallet nodes and wrapped-asset services will restart in stages, while third-party wallets and exchanges must update independently and confirm they are connected to the restored chain before sending funds.

Transactions confirmed during the affected period are not part of the restored chain. Users have been advised to retain transaction IDs and trading records, upgrade their wallets and check the final status before resubmitting transfers.

Full-node operators, miners, stakers, pool operators, exchanges, bridge providers and payment services are expected to verify the update and its checksums. Regular users can download the updated wallet without entering their recovery phrase again.
