MEXC has formed a dedicated task force after a user identified as shuang fei alleged that about $340,000 was stolen from an account.
MEXC’s customer service team said it completed an initial review and provided a proposed resolution. It will continue communicating with the user directly by email, including updates on the case and any additional information needed.
The platform also said it assigned staff to track the account and follow-up handling as it works to protect the user’s interests.
The response follows the user’s public report of the alleged account theft.
