Stellar Lists 216.1 TPS Maximum as Tokenized Assets Reach $3.4B
Stellar’s network recorded $3.385 billion in distributed real-world asset value as of Sept. 28, alongside $9.99 billion in 30-day stablecoin transfer volume.

Stellar’s maximum throughput was listed at 216.1 transactions per second over 100 blocks, while tokenized real-world assets on the network reached $3.385 billion as of Sept. 28.
The throughput measurement covers a 100-block peak rather than sustained network-wide performance.
Stellar’s theoretical throughput was 3,351 TPS, with a 4.99-second block time and 24.5 billion total transactions. Stellar’s 30-day stablecoin transfer volume stood at $9.99 billion.
The network had 72 real-world assets and $3,385,130,188 in distributed value as of Sept. 28. Represented asset value totaled $77,969,040, while stablecoin market capitalization stood at $437,668,543.
Stellar ranked fourth by distributed real-world asset value behind Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana. Spiko was listed at $1.7 billion in total value, followed by Ondo at $536.5 million and Franklin Templeton Benji Investments at $513.8 million.
Protocol 28, known as Adapter, was scheduled for a mainnet vote Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. ET (17:00 UTC). The upgrade targets validator consensus and Soroban smart-contract infrastructure, including changes intended to keep consensus moving when transaction data arrives slowly.
CAP-83 allows validators to vote before the complete transaction set arrives. Validators can also discard transaction sets that arrive late or contain invalid data.
The upgrade’s performance benefits are expected to appear gradually as parallel transaction-set downloading is enabled. The available figures do not establish that tokenized-asset funds, broader real-world asset activity or the upgrade caused the throughput peak.
