Phantom Announced Sept. 24 Cutoff for Sui Wallet Support
The planned change would remove Sui asset management from Phantom while leaving assets on the Sui blockchain.
Phantom announced Aug. 24 that it would end support for the Sui network on Sept. 24, a change that would remove Sui asset management from the wallet while leaving the assets on the Sui blockchain.
After the planned cutoff, users would no longer be able to view Sui assets in Phantom or use the wallet to send, swap or otherwise manage them. The assets themselves would remain on the Sui blockchain.
Before Sept. 24, users could convert Sui (SUI) into assets supported by Phantom. The wallet planned to waive its platform fee for converting native SUI into the Solana-network wrapped version of SUI, while network and exchange fees would still apply.
Users could also import their wallet recovery phrases into another wallet that supports Sui.
