Anthropic Has Not Announced a $518 Billion 2027 Infrastructure Budget
Confirmed commitments include more than $100 billion to AWS over 10 years, a $50 billion U.S. infrastructure project and Google TPU capacity beginning in 2027.
Anthropic has not announced a $518 billion infrastructure budget for 2027, but its confirmed commitments show a multiyear expansion of computing capacity across cloud providers, custom chips and data centers.
The company has committed more than $100 billion to Amazon Web Services over the next 10 years, covering up to 5 gigawatts of capacity. Amazon has invested $8 billion in Anthropic and committed $5 billion immediately, with up to an additional $20 billion later.
Anthropic also announced a $50 billion investment in U.S. computing infrastructure with Fluidstack, including data centers in Texas and New York expected to come online throughout 2026.
Google Cloud has committed multiple gigawatts of TPU capacity for Anthropic, with deployments expected to begin in 2027. Anthropic raised $65 billion at a $965 billion post-money valuation in May and said its revenue run rate had exceeded $47 billion earlier that month.
The confirmed agreements span different time periods and do not establish a $518 billion payment due in 2027.
