Bitget Hack-Linked Wallet’s Chainflip Transfer Rejected by Broker
About 100 Solana tokens entered Chainflip Vault before the broker rejected the deposit and returned the funds to the wallet.
A wallet linked to the Bitget hack attempted to move about 100 Solana (SOL) through Chainflip on Sept. 29, but a broker rejected the deposit and the funds were returned.
The transaction involved roughly 100 SOL entering and leaving Chainflip Vault before the transfer was reversed. The exchange did not complete, leaving the funds in the wallet associated with the attack.
The rejection message displayed for the transaction was: “The deposit was rejected by the broker.” Chainflip is a cross-chain protocol that facilitates swaps between blockchain networks.
The wallet activity marks an unsuccessful attempt to route the hack-linked funds through the protocol. The returned SOL remains at the originating address.
