WalletConnect Pay Adds USDT Payments on TRON for Merchants
The integration supports online and offline transactions, with settlement available in stablecoins or fiat currency and compliance tools built in.
WalletConnect Pay now supports Tether (USDT) payments on the TRON network, giving merchants and payment providers a single integration for online and offline transactions.
Payments can settle in either stablecoins or fiat currency. The integration also includes sanctions-list screening and Travel Rule data capture, which records information required for certain cryptocurrency transfers.
Users can pay directly from USDT balances held in their wallets without making a separate transfer or completing additional payment steps.
The support adds TRON-based USDT transactions to WalletConnect Pay’s payment infrastructure for merchants and payment providers.
