TRES Finance Launches Claude Plugin for Crypto Accounting Teams
The integration supports balances, transactions, cost basis and reconciliations through Claude while preserving existing TRES account permissions.
TRES Finance has launched a Claude plugin for crypto accounting teams, linking TRES accounts to natural-language tools for balances, transactions and reconciliations while preserving existing user permissions.
The plugin is available for Claude Cowork and Claude Code through TRES Finance’s marketplace repository. Users sign in with their existing TRES credentials, and their current roles, permissions and data access remain in effect.
TRES AI Connect is an MCP server that connects TRES accounts with Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible artificial intelligence tools. The Model Context Protocol allows AI assistants to connect with external tools and data sources.
The integration supports queries for historical balances and transactions, cost-basis reviews, record reconciliation, wallet-inventory checks and audit preparation. TRES positions the system for digital-asset finance teams working across accounting, reporting, compliance and financial controls.
The marketplace package is identified as tres-finance/tres-claude-plugin. Its source code is publicly available under an MIT license.
Fireblocks acquired TRES Finance on Jan. 7, 2026. At the time of the acquisition, TRES had more than 230 clients, including Finoa, Alchemy, Dune, Wintermute, M2 and Bank Frick.
The release gives TRES users another interface for accessing accounting and reconciliation data while keeping account access tied to their existing permissions.
