Chainlink Demonstrates Fulcrum for Cross-Chain Collateral Financing
The solution coordinates repo and other collateral-financing transactions across public and private blockchains without custodying assets or operating a trading venue.

Chainlink has demonstrated Fulcrum, a solution for coordinating institutional financing and collateral-management transactions across public and private blockchains.
Fulcrum separates the management of financing agreements from the networks used to settle cash and collateral. Participants can use one interface to choose eligible assets, set transaction terms and coordinate settlement across supported blockchains.
The solution supports cross-chain repurchase agreements, commonly known as repos, along with other collateral-financing transactions. It also provides 24/7 operational support for these workflows.
Fulcrum integrates Chainlink’s Runtime Environment, Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol and Data Streams. The solution does not custody assets, act as a counterparty or operate a trading venue.
Chainlink demonstrated Fulcrum’s cross-chain institutional-financing process with DTCC at Sibos 2026. The demonstration follows Chainlink’s CCIP 2.0 upgrade, which added optional Cross-Chain Verifiers and configurable transfer controls to its cross-chain infrastructure.
