Bitget Plans Friday Resumption of Withdrawals for All Tokens
Bitcoin, Ether and USDT withdrawals have been restored after $388 million in user-fund losses. Bitget’s protection fund has grown to $309 million.

Bitget plans to resume withdrawals for all tokens Friday after a security incident caused $388 million in losses to users, while withdrawals for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and USDT have already been restored.
Bitget’s protection fund, established in January 2022, has grown to $309 million and will absorb the incident’s financial impact.
The exchange has launched a bounty program offering a 5% reward for frozen funds and a separate 5% reward for recovered funds.
Wallets linked to the attack transferred about $3.8 million worth of ZEC to the Ironwood pool.
The planned Friday resumption is the next step in restoring withdrawals across all supported tokens. Bitget’s protection fund previously reached $309 million after the user-fund losses.
