Zcash Awards More Than $8 Million in Retroactive Grants

Zcash awarded more than $8 million in retroactive grants on Oct. 1, including millions of dollars for people who protected all users during this year's AI vulnerability crisis.

The grants demonstrate the sustainability and resistance to capture of Zcash's self-funded, self-governed system, which can continue to evolve.

Zcash plans to conduct multiple rounds of similar grants each year while continuing to improve the funding mechanism.
