NEAR Intents Exploit Address Sends BNB and Ether With Signal Request

The address had previously moved about $3.8 million. The exploit caused losses on Oct. 1.

NEAR Intents General Manager Alex Shevchenko said the team had identified the person responsible for the exploit. The same address, which had previously moved about $3.8 million in funds, later sent 1 BNB to a recovery address and asked the team to provide a Signal contact. The exploit caused losses on Thursday, Oct. 1.

About an hour earlier, the address sent 0.295 Ether (ETH) on Ethereum with the same request.

The team had given the person it identified as responsible 48 hours to return the funds.
