Anthropic Plans $100 Million Academy to Train 10,000 AI Engineers
The Claude Frontier Academy will recruit through Anthropic’s partner network, with its first engineers expected to earn certification in early 2027.

Anthropic plans to spend $100 million on an academy aimed at preparing 10,000 engineers to help businesses build and deploy AI systems by the end of 2027.
The Claude Frontier Academy will recruit participants from companies in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network. Its first groups include engineers from Accenture, Morgan Stanley, Novo Nordisk and consulting firms.
Training starts with a simulated enterprise deployment and a graded assessment. Those who pass will enter a residency modeled on medical education, where they will learn from instructors, work through case studies and complete a final assessment.
The academy is designed to train engineers who combine AI fluency with knowledge of enterprise technology and business operations.
Anthropic expects the first academy graduates to be certified in early 2027.
