Ultimate Subscribers Should Check Auto-Revoking Settings After Magic Eden Incident
Each wallet needs Auto-Revoking permission in MetaMask and a MetaMask smart account on the relevant network for the feature to protect assets.

Ultimate subscribers should review their Auto-Revoking settings after last week’s Magic Eden security incident, checking each network and confirming that every wallet meets the requirements for the feature to protect assets.
The account’s Auto-Revoking section displays whether a network has a yellow warning icon. If one appears, the address should first be restored to a regular account in another wallet app, then upgraded to a MetaMask smart account.
Subscribers should enable every network they use and grant Auto-Revoking permission separately for each wallet in their subscription. For protection to work, each wallet must have that permission in MetaMask and be upgraded to a MetaMask smart account on the relevant network.
The smart account upgrade usually takes place during authorization. It may fail if the address was previously upgraded through another wallet app.
The reminder follows a security issue involving older Ethereum NFT listings on Magic Eden. Magic Eden warned that some older listings may remain exposed to an exploit and urged users to revoke approvals tied to the affected listings.
