PONS Founder Says Buyback and Burn Operations Are Automated
The team says funds arrive every seven days, followed by a week of recurring buybacks and burns at a rate of 2e per hour.

PONS has automated its buyback and burn operations, founder Ozzy said, outlining a process that lets users run a bot and receive a small reward after community concerns about the mechanism.
The team said funds arrive every seven days, then buybacks and burns run over the following seven days. The current rate is 2e per hour, set to match about $950,000 in the Splitter fund distribution contract.
Buyback funds are split between the Active Buyback Vault, which handles the current cycle, and funds reserved for the next one. Ozzy apologized for misunderstandings in earlier communications, and users accepted the explanation.
