Strive Vice President Joe Burnett said superintelligent artificial intelligence could make it harder for people to build capital through work, potentially limiting how they acquire scarce assets such as Bitcoin (BTC).

Burnett described AI as a new variable in his view of exchanging other assets for Bitcoin. He had previously considered such exchanges worthwhile at any time, but said a sharp decline in labor scarcity over the next five to 10 years could make earning capital through work more difficult.

He said nearly all 21 million Bitcoin may have been mined within that period, while the asset would remain scarce.
